Denislav Anastasov
Music producer, audio engineer and Ableton Live mentor. My studio is in the centre of Sofia.
It all started with one note, one idea…
I grew up in Varna in a family of musicians and first sat at the piano when I was five. I studied at the Dobri Hristov music school and then sound engineering at the Music Academy in Sofia. Producing started almost as a joke: I was playing in bars, wanted a different sound and slowly found out how I want to sound. Thank you for reading this!
What I care about is the small detail your listeners can't name, but can feel.
Your song first. My taste second.
The easiest mistake for any engineer is to push their own taste over the artist's. My rule is simple: ego out, song first.
Whether I'm cleaning up a podcast, writing for the stage or mixing your single, my job is to make it sound the way you hear it in your head.
Warm character. Clean detail.
I work in Ableton Live with a Universal Audio interface and plugins. Piano and synths give a track its character. Careful mixing keeps it clear.
The result sounds open, warm and human.
People I have
worked with
I have been a ghost producer for Dan Truman, keyboardist of Diamond Rio and a Grammy winner. I have also made sound for national TV ads for METRO and Vivacom.
You bring the song.
I help it sound right.
Tell me about your project on WhatsApp. Send a demo or just a few words, and I will tell you honestly what I would do with it.
