A one-on-one music production course in Ableton Live. You produce the track, I mix and master it, and we release it together. If you come to the lessons and do the tasks but we don't get to a release-ready single, we keep going for free, up to 4 extra lessons.
The first lesson is risk-free: if you don't like it, I refund the month.
The 8 · 56 · 1 method
Three stages of four lessons. After every lesson you leave with something finished.
Lessons 1–4 · 8 bars
The idea
First loop – an 8-bar loop in your very first lesson
Groove – a beat that swings
Chords without theory – 6 progressions played by a pianist
From 8 to 56 bars – a rough version of the whole song
After 4 weeks: a rough version of the whole track
Lessons 5–8 · 56 bars
The song
Your sound – a sample flip and sounds of your own
The voice – recording, plus a studio day in the booth
Details – transitions, automation and the “Detective” drill
Remix – from the original stems of one of my released tracks
After 8 weeks: a finished arrangement with your sound and voice
Lessons 9–12 · 1 single
The finish
The mix – your first full mix
My mix vs yours – I mix and master your track and we compare blind
Release – distributor, cover art and a Spotify pitch
Premiere – we play the single on the studio monitors and shoot 3 videos
After 12 weeks: your single is uploaded for release and you have a plan for the next one
Before you sign up
Is this course right for you?
It is for you if:
You have plenty of ideas and loops, but you have never finished a song.
You want to make your own music instead of depending on a producer.
You are starting from scratch, or you have learned from YouTube and feel stuck.
You have time for one lesson a week and 20 minutes of practice a day.
It is not for you if:
You are only after theory, not making music.
You want someone else to make the track for you. Then my music production service is a better fit.
You have no time to practise between lessons.
Not sure? In the free call I will tell you honestly whether the course will help you.
WHO TEACHES YOU
I'm Denislav Anastasov. My music is released by Stereofox and has been played on BBC Radio 6 Music, and “Dust Delight” was nominated for the Ikar Awards 2025. I create music for theatre productions and do sound and audio design for national TV ads.
In the course I show you exactly how I work, with no jargon and nothing held back. And I don't leave you alone between lessons:
A 90-minute lesson every week, online or at the studio
20 minutes a day with the 8 · 56 · 1 workbook
On Sunday you send me where you got to
Within 48 hours I send you a voice note back
Only for my students
Your own learning room
When you sign up, you get a personal link to your own learning room. Everything from the course is there, lesson by lesson, and you always see how far you have come.
The recording of every lesson, to watch as many times as you like
An interactive textbook with sound: you hear every example right on the page
The task for the week, with a checkbox and a button to send it to me
The files for every lesson, the workbook, the glossary and a test after each stage
An ear trainer for 5 minutes of practice a day
It works on your phone and computer, with no passwords and no extra apps.
A place where you don't just record music — you build a sound with character. The studio has professional gear, the atmosphere is inspiring, and the whole process is at a level you rarely find.
Denislav isn't just the person behind the desk, but a real music producer with a feel for detail, emotion and a modern sound. He knows how to bring out the best in the artist, steer ideas in the right direction and turn an idea into a finished, professional project.
If you're looking for quality recording, a professional mix and someone who truly understands music and creates sound with vision — this is the place. Highly recommend! 🎵🔥
An extremely pleasant experience! The person behind the studio is great, and you can tell he truly knows his craft and works with care, professionalism and dedication. Highly recommend! 🎶
Exceptional professionalism from Denislav Anastasov. The location is very convenient, and the moment you walk into the studio you feel like you're at a neon party.
Highly recommend! 💜

Yes. We start from zero and you leave the very first lesson with a finished loop. If you change your mind after it, I refund the month.
20 minutes, 5 days a week, plus the lesson. The 8 · 56 · 1 workbook tells you what to do each day.
Mixed and mastered by me, with cover art, and uploaded to a distributor with a release date. If you come to the lessons and do the exercises and we don't get there in 12 weeks, we keep going for free, up to 4 extra lessons.
Both. Online with good audio so I hear everything, or in person at my studio in Sofia. The studio day and the premiere happen at the studio.
No. If you don't sing, we record an instrument or a guest, or keep the track instrumental. If you want to sing, lesson 6 covers singing in tune.
A computer, headphones and Ableton Live. The free trial is enough to start, and in the free meeting we check your computer can handle it. You don't need paid plugins.
Not at all. My own music is chillhop, jazz, ambient and music for theatre, but sound design and mixing work the same in every genre. The aim is to develop your sound, not copy mine.
The distributor's fee isn't included. Some distributors have a free option, others charge a yearly fee. In lesson 11 we compare them and you choose.
It's yours, completely. I don't take a cut of the income. The remix of my track is only an exercise and isn't released.
